Welcome to Speed Cargo Packers & Movers. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of our packing, moving, transportation, loading, unloading, storage, relocation, and related services. By booking our services, the customer ("Client", "Customer", "Consignor") agrees to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
1. Definitions

2. Acceptance of Terms
2.1 By confirming a booking, making payment, signing a quotation, work order, consignment note, invoice, or agreement, the Customer acknowledges acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2.2 The Company reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
2.3 Continued use of Company services shall constitute acceptance of any updated terms.
3. Quotations and Pricing
3.1 All quotations are based on information provided by the Customer.
3.2 If the quantity, volume, weight, or nature of goods differs from the information initially provided, additional charges may apply.
3.3 Quotations are generally valid for the period mentioned in the quotation.
3.4 Additional charges may apply for:
- Staircase carrying
- Long carrying distance
- Lift unavailability
- Delays caused by the Customer
- Additional packing requirements
- Special handling requirements
- Storage services
- Taxes and government charges
- Toll taxes, parking charges, and permits
3.5 Prices may change due to fuel cost increases, regulatory changes, route restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances.
4. Booking and Payments
4.1 A booking shall be considered confirmed only after receipt of the agreed advance payment.
4.2 The Company may require advance payment before commencement of services.
4.3 Remaining payment must be cleared before delivery or as agreed in writing.
4.4 Delayed payments may attract interest, penalties, or service suspension.
4.5 The Company reserves the right to withhold delivery until outstanding dues are fully paid.
4.6 Payments once made are generally non-refundable except where specifically approved by the Company.
5. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer shall:
- Provide accurate information regarding the goods and destination.
- Ensure lawful ownership or authority to transport the goods.
- Disclose fragile, valuable, hazardous, perishable, or sensitive items.
- Be present personally or through an authorized representative during loading and unloading.
- Verify all goods before signing delivery documents.
- Arrange necessary permissions for entry, parking, society approvals, and building access.
- Remove all valuables, cash, jewelry, confidential documents, and personal identification documents before packing.
6. Packing and Handling
6.1 The Company shall use reasonable care in packing and handling goods.
6.2 The Company is not liable for damage arising from:
- Defective or worn-out furniture
- Pre-existing damage
- Weak particle board furniture
- Self-packed items
- Improper disclosure of item condition
6.3 Fragile items shall be packed based on industry-standard methods; however, the Company cannot guarantee complete protection against transit risks.
6.4 Customers are advised to inspect packed goods before transportation.
7. Prohibited and Restricted Items
The Customer shall not include:
- Cash and currency
- Gold, silver, diamonds, jewelry
- Firearms and ammunition
- Explosives
- Illegal substances
- Narcotics
- Hazardous chemicals
- Flammable materials
- Perishable food items
- Live animals
- Important legal documents
- Passports
- Share certificates
- Negotiable instruments
If any prohibited item is discovered, the Company may refuse service immediately without refund.
8. Transit and Delivery
8.1 Delivery schedules are estimated and not guaranteed.
8.2 Transit times may vary due to:
- Traffic conditions
- Weather conditions
- Road closures
- Vehicle breakdowns
- Government restrictions
- Natural disasters
- Strikes or labor issues
8.3 The Company shall not be liable for delays beyond its reasonable control.
8.4 Delivery may be delayed if payment obligations remain outstanding.
8.5 Delivery shall be deemed complete when goods are handed over at the specified destination.
9. Inspection at Delivery
9.1 Customers must inspect goods immediately upon delivery.
9.2 Any visible damage or shortage must be noted in writing on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery.
9.3 Claims raised after delivery without written remarks may not be entertained.
9.4 Signing the delivery receipt without objection shall be treated as confirmation of satisfactory delivery.
10. Insurance
10.1 Transit insurance is optional unless specifically included in writing.
10.2 Customers are encouraged to obtain transit insurance for valuable goods.
10.3 Insurance claims shall be subject to the terms and conditions of the insurance provider.
10.4 The Company shall assist with documentation but shall not be responsible for claim approval or rejection by insurers.
11. Limitation of Liability
11.1 The Company's liability shall be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law.
11.2 The Company shall not be liable for:
- Loss of profits
- Business interruption
- Emotional distress
- Indirect damages
- Consequential damages
- Special damages
11.3 The Company shall not be liable for minor scratches, dents, wear and tear, or cosmetic damages resulting from ordinary transportation.
11.4 Liability shall not exceed the declared value of goods or the amount paid for services, whichever is lower.
12. Storage Services
12.1 Goods stored with the Company remain at the Customer's risk unless covered by insurance.
12.2 Storage charges shall apply according to agreed rates.
12.3 The Company reserves the right to dispose of abandoned goods after providing reasonable notice and as permitted by law.
12.4 Outstanding dues may result in withholding release of stored goods.
13. Force Majeure
The Company shall not be liable for any delay, loss, or failure caused by:

- Earthquakes
- Fires
- Pandemics
- Epidemics
- Government actions
- War
- Civil unrest
- Terrorist activities
- Road blockades
- Labor disputes
- Any event beyond reasonable control
14. Cancellation and Rescheduling
14.1 Cancellation requests must be submitted before the scheduled service date.
14.2 Advance payments may be partially or fully forfeited depending on expenses already incurred.
14.3 Rescheduling requests are subject to vehicle and manpower availability.
14.4 The Company reserves the right to reschedule services due to operational requirements.
15. Claims and Complaints
15.1 All claims must be submitted in writing within 48 hours of delivery.
15.2 Claims must include:
- Invoice number
- Consignment number
- Description of loss or damage
- Supporting photographs
- Relevant documents
15.3 The Company may investigate claims before making a decision.
15.4 Submission of a claim does not automatically entitle the Customer to compensation.
16. Indemnification
The Customer agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its directors, employees, agents, and affiliates against any losses, liabilities, damages, penalties, costs, or legal expenses arising from:
- Incorrect information provided by the Customer
- Transportation of prohibited items
- Violation of applicable laws
- Third-party claims related to the Customer's goods

17.1 Customer information shall be collected only for service-related purposes.
17.2 The Company may collect:

- Phone Number
- Email Address
- Pickup and Delivery Details
17.3 The Company shall take reasonable measures to protect customer data.
17.4 Customer information may be shared with operational partners where necessary for service delivery.
18. Website Usage Terms
18.1 All content on the Company's website is for informational purposes only.
18.2 Unauthorized copying, reproduction, or distribution of website content is prohibited.
18.3 The Company does not guarantee uninterrupted website availability.
19. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
